wonderful

There is an interesting tussle going on here in Andhrapradesh. The tussle is between the state government and an IAS officer who retired very recently. Mr. Ramachandra Samal was an IAS Officer and served the government as vigilance commissioner before his retirement. Now he started campaigning against the ruling congress party and some of its ministers who showed favouretism towards some officers. Quite often it happens in India that some of the civil servants after retirement try to criticize the governments. One needs to understand why these senior officers come open only after their retirements. It is difficult to common people to comprehend this and at the same time, politicians in general in India today are known for their favouretism and nepotism. They don't mind to go to any extent to get their wants fulfilled. Young Indians should start thinking these issues much deeper while they vote. And they should try to avoid corruption and turn this country into corruption free.

Fly over collapsed...

Fifteen people were dead in Hyderabad when a flyover under construction collapsed. This is second major tragedy for Hyderabad as 40 people were dead a few days ago in two blasts at Lumbini Park and Gokual Chat Bhandar. Flyover Construction has been going on for many years by now and is yet to be completed. It was told that most of the people dead were construction workers. Thank god, since it is a sunday evening probably lot many lives have been saved. Because this flyover work is going on in Punjagutta which is an important cross roads. There are more than a dozen flyovers in the city but this is first time that a flyover under construction collapsed. Importantly this flyover is being built with the help of most modern available technology.Public are demanding the Government to take necessary measures to avoid this kind of incidents and accidents at least in the future.

tragedy

It is very unfortunate that Mr. N. Janardhan Reddy, MP and his wife N. Rajya Lakshmi were attacked by unidentified people today. Nellore is not a place which is known for any maoist presence. Mr. Janardhan Reddy was going to Tirupati to receive his doctorate from Sri Venkateswara University. Though Mr Reddy and his wife were lucky, Two of his followers and one car driver were dead in the attack. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy strongly condemned the act of militants and said State Government is going to take measures including strengthening the Police Department.
